Most music shows will recycle a limited selection of songs that have been focus-group tested to appeal to a specific demographic, hoping that will lock in a regular-listening audience

Similarly, most music shows will focus an a specific genre, or a specific period of time, in the belief that’s what their audience wants

Alternative-Eden rejects this premise

Music did not stop being amazing at the end of the Eighties, or the Nineties, rather it continues to evolve, reacting and feeding back to the society around it
